Role Overview
As a Video Creator, you will be responsible for developing engaging video content across all social media platforms, highlighting our products, team, and behind-the-scenes moments. You’ll work closely with our marketing, design, and product teams to craft videos that resonate with our target audiences and communicate our brand story effectively.
Key Responsibilities
· Content Creation:
o Produce high-quality promotional videos for social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
o Showcase Waterway Labs’ products, team culture, and behind-the-scenes activities to engage and inform our audience.
· Video Production:
o Film, edit, and finalise videos using professional-grade equipment and software.
o Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to enhance content.
· Brand Storytelling:
o Develop videos that align with our brand voice and messaging, emphasising decentralisation, community ownership, and innovation.
· Trend Awareness:
o Stay up-to-date on social media trends, video formats, and platform algorithms to maximise reach and engagement.
· Collaboration:
o Work with the team to align video content with campaigns, product launches, and events.
o Coordinate with team members for interviews, testimonials, and on-site shoots.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio of promotional or social media videos.
· Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
· Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
· Ability to conceptualise and execute creative ideas that engage and captivate audiences.
· Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts (like blockchain) in an accessible and relatable way.
· Knowledge of lighting, sound, and other technical aspects of video production.
· A proactive and collaborative attitude, with strong project management and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with animation or motion graphics.
· Familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or tech-related industries.
