Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to an Interim Capital Accountant for a Local Authority based in the East Midlands.

Key responsibilities: Capital Accountant

  • Supporting the Council to their Audit process with a specific focus on Capital and Fixed Assets
  • Performing Data Mining on Fixed Assets Register
  • Ensuring the Council's Fixed Assets Module is in line with financial statements
  • Acting as a Specialist for all Capital and Fixed Asset queries

Person specification: Capital Accountant

  • Experience in local government finance
  • Experience dealing with Fixed Asset Accounting
  • IFRS knowledge is desirable but not essential
