This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join an expanding Group company. You will take a lead role with Business Financial Controlling and Management Reporting activities; delivering accurate and timely financial information and establish and maintain a robust control environment and a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties:

  • Part of the Site Management team driving the day-to-day performance of the site
  • Manage a team of professionals ensuring roles are fully documented and objectives are well defined
  • Develop systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Operating Units financial performance
  • Responsible for delivering and presenting the monthly management accounts
  • Identifying and driving action plans to improve the financial performance and to mitigate any risks identified
  • Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasts of the business
  • Work with departmental managers to prepare cost centre budgets, forecasts and review actual performance to drive action plans to achieve targets, and support / manage audits
  • Coordinate the financial strategic planning process for the Business
  • Monitor and drive improvements in cash and working capital of the business
  • Support the commercial business decision making process
  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and the relevant statutory accounting standards
  • Establish and implement a control environment to underpin accurate reporting

Your background:

  • Must be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Experience operating at a similar level is essential
  • Experience of costings and margin analysis is essential
  • Experience of presenting financial data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership, motivation, and influencing skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
