The successful candidate will work under the direction and guidance of senior staff to provide general clerical and administrative support to the business. What we're looking for:
  • NVQ 2 Business and Administration or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
  • A good understanding of Microsoft packages, Word & Excel
  • Good organising, planning and prioritising skills
  • Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude including suggesting solutions, participating, trusting, and encouraging others and achieving expectations
  • Methodical with a good attention to detail
  • Communicates effectively
The finer elements of the role include:
  • Develop and maintain effective organisational systems: organising and timetabling of business meetings
  • Ensuring completed paperwork is distributed as appropriate on completion of the review
  • Manage computerised record/information systems for the department
  • Undertake confidential and general typing and word-processing for the office manager
  • Operate relevant ICT packages to update the database
  • Maintain clear and efficient documentation relating to all issues arising in this area and file securely
  • Undertake any other administrative duties within the unit
  • Operate office equipment e.g. photocopier
