Location:Swadlincote (75% workshop, 25% site work)
Employer:Engineering contractor in the food & beverage industry
Positions Available:
- Fabricator/Welder, Pipefitter
- Workshop Foreman (Fabricator/Welder, Pipefitter)
Package:
- Full-time PAYE contract
- Salary:44,720/year (21.50/hour) for a 40-hour week
- Overtime:1.5x after 8 hrs (Mon-Sat); 2x Sundays/Bank Holidays
- Travel:Paid door-to-door; company van provided (private use allowed)
- Equipment:Laptop, phone, and hotel + expenses for overnight stays
- Holidays:31 days, incl. Bank Holidays
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- NVQ Level 2 or above, with TIG welding experience (stainless steel)
- Food & beverage industry background; P&ID drawing knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Oversee workshop operations and manage materials
- Generate project quotes and assist management
- Progression to management role available
