Marketing Manager

Office based, Swadlincote

09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Macildowie is working with a client based in Swadlincote to recruit a Marketing Manager for their growing business. This is a permanent role within the Manufacturing industry. This is a standalone Marketing Manager role, with no people management and the ability to be both strategic and delivery focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote products and services, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to analyse customer behaviour, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Oversee brand management to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Plan and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, print, events, and media.
  • Manage content creation and distribution for various channels.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through market research and feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or a minimum of 3+ years of experience in marketing with a proven track record in managing successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in content management and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
