About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Sales Engineering Team Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead a team of Project Sales Engineers, ensuring technical and commercial excellence throughout the project lifecyclefrom RFQ to final delivery. Your expertise in engineering, project management, and customer relations will be critical in driving sales growth, optimizing project execution, and enhancing our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical authority for customer projects, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Lead and guide the Project Sales Engineering team in delivering cost-effective, technically sound solutions.
  • Supervise technical proposal development, Clause-by-Clause (CbC) analysis, and internal documentation.
  • Engage with customers, present solutions, and build strong long-term relationships.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
  • Support product and system improvements, including pre-studies and validation processes.
  • Lead department management activities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.

What Were Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • MSc degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in the rail industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of rail products and project sales engineering.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills to manage customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and resource planning.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving approach.
