W Talend is delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Swadlincote, seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to support the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Team. This role is essential in ensuring an organised, efficient, and proactive approach to SHEQ administration across the business.

Role Purpose:

The Health & Safety Administrator will provide key administrative support to the SHEQ team, maintaining accurate records, assisting with compliance reporting, and ensuring the smooth operation of health, safety, and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in producing accurate reports including monthly statistics, H&S trends, and KPI reports.
  • Administer the Eco-Online system, generating reports, managing day-to-day use, supporting accident investigations, and acting as the Key User/Trainer.
  • Manage the Chemical Manager system to support reporting and reviews.
  • Provide proactive and efficient administrative support, including data input, extraction, and report generation.
  • Maintain and update key records such as site asset registers, Toolbox Talks, and training records.
  • Coordinate specialist inspections, external audits, and assessments (e.g., Noise Surveys, DSEAR Assessments, PUWER Assessments, Insurance Inspections).
  • Maintain accident and near-miss records across the group.
  • Oversee SHEQ equipment and PPE registers, ensuring compliance and availability.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and use bespoke IT systems.
  • Confident in managing databases and generating reports.
  • Ability to train and support other users on key systems.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
