Groomfield Recruitmentare seeking an experiencedMechanical Design Engineerto join our team. This role will be based at ourSwadlincoteoffice, working with our Engineering Design Team. We are offering a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Working hours- 8am - 4.30pm
Salary-44,500
The ideal candidate must have experience in conveyor and mechanical handling machinery design, using AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD software design suites. This challenging role involves the design and development of the clients manufacturing process.
Requirements and skills:
- A recognised mechanical engineering qualification such as ONC, HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent.
- Must be fully conversant with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD design suites.
- Experience with installing and maintaining Autodesk software would be an advantage.
- Be competent using Microsoft Office, particularly working with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook email.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team but also be able to work well under own initiative.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
