Company Overview: We are partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing company, recognized globally for its stability and growth. With seven UK sites and a group-wide turnover of £2.5 billion, this company supplies major UK retailers and produces well-known products. The Ashby-De-La-Zouch site features a wide range of machinery, including conveyor systems, fryers, weighing machines, bagging machines, case packers, and ovens. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
The Role: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault finding, both electrically and mechanically
- Supporting the maintenance of all production machinery
- Engaging in project work to improve site operations
You: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience working in a manufacturing, food, or FMCG environment
- A Level 3 NVQ or apprenticeship in electrical engineering
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team
