Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transactional Team Leader to join a large, growing business based in Swadlincote. This hybrid role offers flexibility with two days in the office and a competitive salary of up to £33,000. As a Transactional Team Leader, you will lead a small, target-oriented team, overseeing daily activities to ensure all transactional processes and controls are delivered within agreed KPIs while fostering a positive team morale. This role involves problem-solving, reconciliations, process management, and team development to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Monitoring: Supervise ongoing processes, including invoicing, crediting, and cash allocation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Control Checks: Oversee internal controls and monitoring checks to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- KPI Reporting: Generate and analyse unallocated cash KPI reports.
- Direct Debit Collections: Manage and oversee the collection of direct debits.
- Reconciliations: Handle complex account reconciliations and oversee bad debt write-offs.
- Audit Participation: Support internal audits by ensuring processes meet audit standards and providing required documentation.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Transactional team to achieve their goals and foster professional growth.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Policy Implementation: Establish and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality/service standards.
- Team Coverage: Act as a backup for team members during sickness and holidays to maintain operational continuity.
- Month-End Deadlines: Ensure all month-end deadlines are met accurately and on time.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with management and the wider team to address issues, share progress, and streamline processes.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by the line manager.
