Position:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Mathematics Teacher to join our talented and passionate team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Mathematics, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to make an immediate impact on student learning and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5 students.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Differentiate lessons to ensure all students, including those with special educational needs, can succeed.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and interventions where needed.
- Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and resources.
- Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement with Mathematics.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong subject knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 for the right candidate).
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
