Job title: Revenue Reconciliation Assistant include
Location: Burton upon Trent (hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £27,000 (DOE)
Macildowie is currently recruiting for a leisure business based in Burton upon Trent. The business has a strong presence in both physical locations and online.
This Revenue Reconciliation Assistant role is crucial in maintaining cashbooks, processing revenue, investigating variances, logging and processing branch vouchers, and providing payment and cashiering services to the Head Office.
The roles and responsibilities of this Revenue Reconciliation Assistant include:
- Weekly reporting of cash actuals
- Preparation of weekly and monthly cash forecasts
- Variance analysis of actual cash against forecast
- Weekly and monthly completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Management of the consolidation of the Balance Sheet Reconciliation process
- Development and preparation of variance and investigation reports for Management
- Assessment and improvement of processes around store banking procedures
- Representation of the Finance Department on projects relating to banking procedures and compliance
- General daily, weekly, and month-end Revenue Control tasks
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Experience and skills required for this Revenue Reconciliation Assistant:
- At least 1 year of experience as a revenue control assistant, finance assistant, or accounts assistant
- Ideally within leisure, entertainment, or retail sectors but open to any relevant background
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in using spreadsheets and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- A great team player
