Responsibility of Maintenance Engineer

  • Responsible for the development of plant wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service Repairs, Reactive maintenance on Conveyors, Shafts, Bearings, Drives, Gearboxes, Pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics etc
  • Ensure optimum running capacity for the plant, keeping downtime to a minimum and working as part of a forward thinking dynamic engineering team

To Be Successful as a Maintenance Engineer

  • You will need to hold the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, BTEC & NVQ Level 3, OR Apprentice as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
  • Direct production line Mechanical Maintenance Engineer experience
  • Pre-Planned and reactive industrial production Maintenance experience
