Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased looking for a new role within the Food Manufacturing Industry? A leading manufacturing business based in the area of Swadlincote, Derbyshire are looking to grow their team. This role will be based within the companies factory in a small team of 13 engineers. Offering a salary of c43k dependant on experience and to work 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts doing 6am - 6pm.

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime
  • Conducts fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and parts. Where a detailed specification is not provided, determines the cause of the fault and undertakes the most cost effective solution to remedy the defect
  • Carries out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs
  • Supporting maintenance shutdowns
  • Acting as a role model and lead by example demonstrating Core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times

Working Hours:

6am to 6pm 4 on 4 off

Suitable Candidate:

  • Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Previously worked within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment before is highly desirable
  • Electrically biased
  • 18th Edition is highly desirable
