Pioneering purpose-built facilities to a broad range of automated production environments. Today, they offer comprehensive support from feasibility studies to production commencement, with a dedicated team ensuring top-notch quality and service for customized and standard packaging machinery, crafted entirely in-house.

Due to an extended period of exponential growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the expanding design team.

About The Mechanical Design Engineer Role

You will be responsible for mechanical design and development of bespoke equipment and machines.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Collaborate on machine concepts and specs.
• Design detailed mechanical plans with CAD.
• Validate designs through calculations and prototyping.
• Choose materials, components, and suppliers.
• Create technical docs like drawings and assembly instructions.
• Review designs and assist in manufacturing.
• Test and troubleshoot for issues.
• Improve designs based on feedback.
• Stay current on tech and industry trends.

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need:

• 3+ years of equipment design experience.
• Prior experience designing conveyors or special-purpose machinery.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD.
• Demonstrate prior experience in a machinery/equipment manufacturing-related sector.
• Full Rights to work in the UK.
