With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, this well-established business is seeking an interim Risk Manager for a 6-month assignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
This position is key to supporting the company as they work towards securing a permanent hire, and offers the flexibility to work four days a week (or full-time). The company is based in South Derbyshire, easily accessible from the West and East Midlands, with hybrid working arrangements (two days from home).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of data migration and finalise the implementation of a new risk management system
- Assist in populating and maintaining operational and departmental risk registers
- Collaborate with Risk Owners, Risk Champions, and subject matter experts to review and update risk registers as required
- Collect, record, and provide assurance on risk controls to ensure strong governance.
- Provide direct support to Risk Champions, helping them fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
- Prepare documentation and materials for Boards, Committees, and Network meetings.
What You Need:
- Experience in a risk management role is essential
- Knowledge and experience of ERM (Enterprise Risk Management)
- Strong ability to communicate risk management strategies clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing successful change initiatives
