Temporary Payroll Administrator - Hybrid Working (Hourly Rate Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on management of the full end-to-end payroll process, ensuring payroll for all employees is accurate and on time.
  • Ensure statutory deductions, such as tax and National Insurance, are processed correctly and submitted on schedule.
  • Perform thorough checks of payroll data and reports, maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as pension providers and local councils, and generate payroll-related reports as needed.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll processes, including reconciliations and audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide cover for key payroll tasks as required.
About You
  • Essential: Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes with the ability to work hands-on from day one.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and experience dealing with external bodies such as pension advisors and auditors.
  • Immediate availability to step into the role is crucial.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or People XD is advantageous but not required.
