BC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant  to work in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes based centrally in the Swadlincote area.

About the role

This role will include:

  • Work to begin as soon as possible.
  • Working in both a KS1 and KS2 setting.
  • Will require staff to cover lessons at points in the day to support teacher when possible.
  • Will have a potential to become permanent for the right applicants.
About the school

This will be based in a one form entry school based in the area of Swadlincote, with a number of supply staff previously giving positive feedback when working on supply at the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role you:

  • Need to have had prior experience working with children of an older primary age group.
  • Be able to work typical school hours of 08:30-15:30 from Monday to Friday.
  • Be able to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
  • Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Salary based on qualifications.
