Extra Recruitment are looking for a Production Team Leader in the Swadlincote area.

Details of a Production Team Leader

• Swadlincote
• Monday - Friday
• 2pm - 10:30pm (8pm finish on a Friday)
• 15 - 17 p/h (Depending on experience)
• Temp - Perm
• Weekday & weekend overtime available

Role of a Production Team Leader

• Work closely with the production shift manager
• Manage and maintain the production department
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed (5S procedures)
• Set clear SQDCIP targets for your area and set challenging yet achievable goals
• Support your team & identify improvements to support longer-term continuous improvements.
• Conduct audits and process confirmations to ensure that your team members are complying with all standards and processes.
• Ensure products/orders are completed efficiently
• Be responsible for the planning/scheduling of the direct labour requirements
• Report back regularly through the line management
• Carry out any other task deemed necessary that are within your job capabilities and training

Requirements of a Production Team Leader

• Must have prior experience in similar environment
• Must be capable of leading a team (up to around 15)
• Must have experience in line with 5S practices of health and safety
• Must be able to commute to Swadlincote
• Must be able to work afternoon shift
