Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) service in Swadlincote. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead by example in supporting vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily care of young people, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being
  • Support and mentor junior staff to provide high-quality care
  • Implement individual care plans and promote positive behaviour
  • Work a rotating shift pattern, including sleep-ins, to ensure continuous care

Shift Pattern:

  • 1 day on, 2 days off (including sleep-ins)
  • Shifts operate between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Children’s Care (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in a residential setting, with leadership qualities
