Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We're seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join us as soon as possible and work with a Year 2 child in need of support until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

  • Location: Burton upon Trent
  • Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday
    • Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:10 pm – 3:10 pm
    • Friday: 1:10 pm – 3:10 pm
  • Contract Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with meet-and-greet sessions beforehand).

You will be working one-on-one.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a TA who is:

  • Qualified: At least Level 2 trained.
  • Experienced: Skilled in working with children with challenging and dysregulated behavior.
  • Knowledgeable: Experienced with trauma, or has completed CPD around trauma, or is PACE-trained.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Proficient in de-escalation techniques.
  • Empathetic: Able to adopt an emotion coaching approach to support the child's emotional needs.
