We are working with an engineering contractor specializing in the food and beverage industry, who is looking to hire for the following positions on a temporary-to-permanent contract:

Fabricator/Welder, Pipefitter – Food & Beverage Industry
Location:
Swadlincote (50% workshop, 50% national sites)
Company Overview:
Our client specializes in the food and beverage industry, focusing on process sites and thin gauge stainless steel projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel.
- Work at the Swadlincote workshop and national sites (50/50 split).
- Ensure high-quality welding and pipefitting, adhering to food and beverage industry standards.
- Follow all safety standards and site regulations.
- Overtime work will be required, with the opportunity for weekend shifts.
- Willingness to travel to national sites as needed.
- Ability to read and work with P&ID and detailed engineering drawings.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: £41,600.00 (£20/hour) based on a 40-hour work week.
- Overtime Rates:
- 1.5x after 8 hours (Monday to Friday)
- 1.5x all day Saturday
- 2x on Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Travel: Door-to-door travel paid when working at sites or in the workshop.
- Van: Company van provided, including for private use.
