Care Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking team at this residential care home in Swaffham. As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our residents and their families, becoming an integral part of their lives. Day and night shifts available: 7am-9pm/9pm-7am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and general hygiene.
  • Our Care Assistants work with a diverse group of residents, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, epilepsy, and sensory impairments. You’ll provide personalised care and support.
  • Help residents with physical disabilities use aids and equipment as needed, ensuring their safety.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate records in care plans.
  • Engage residents in activities like reading, writing, hobbies, and friendly conversations to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Foster good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and visitors, creating a supportive environment for everyone.
