Job Opportunity: Senior Care Assistant

This family-owned residential care home prides themselves on being not just a care home, but a company where they truly care about the residents and each other. We’re looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their friendly team, where your compassion and dedication will make a real difference.

We offer both full-time and part-time hours, with shifts available between, 7am-9pm/7am-2.30pm/2.30pm-9pm/9pm-7am - so you can find a schedule that works for you! At a competitive payrate of £14.00.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Helping with smooth handovers at the start and end of each shift to make sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Creating a caring environment that meets both the physical and emotional needs of the residents.
  • Managing staffing levels and helping to plan for future team needs.
  • Regularly checking in on care plans to ensure they reflect the needs and wishes of the residents.
  • Assisting residents with their daily personal care, such as washing, bathing, dressing, and using hoists if needed.
  • Keeping the home a safe and welcoming space for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the home, while helping to create a warm and supportive atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
  • Great communication skills.
  • A team leader who enjoys supporting and supervising others.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of residents.
