Excellent opportunity to join a leading Norfolk based Joinery Company as an Estimator.
The company is seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join our small team in their local office. As a key member of their team, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate cost estimates for high-value projects including but not limited to; apartment blocks, offices, schools, historical buildings and other projects for tier 1 contractors and End users.
Duties
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Utilize and follow our internal pricing system detailed project estimates.
- Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs to determine project expenses.
- Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals within specified deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and address any cost-related queries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpentry & Joinery Estimator in the construction industry.
- Open to applicants who have experience in Bench Joinery/ production.
- Strong knowledge of Joinery materials and components.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
