Role OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and proactive Pastoral Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being and personal development of our students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities•    Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students with SEMH needs.•    Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to each student's needs.•    Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.•    Facilitate group sessions and workshops focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and resilience.•    Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.•    Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements•    Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.•    Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.•    Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.•    Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.•    Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, social work, or a related field (desirable).
