Summary

Want to work in a beautiful place and to help keep it that way? No experience needed, we're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our spectacular holiday cottages around the Purbeck Estate, Brownsea Island and Kingston Lacy.

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Duration: Fixed Term until 20 July 2025

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible, we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible. Some Saturday working will be required for this role. 

Interviews: 8 and 9 October 2024 however, these dates are flexible

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What you'll be doing

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything is clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

You'll be happy to work on your own, or as part of a team, as required.  You'll be working in various holiday cottages across Purbeck, Brownsea Island, and Pamphill, so you'll need to think about how you're going to travel to these properties before applying. 

Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
