As a 3.5t multi-drop van delivery driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various customers across London and the Southeast. You will be working alongside a drivers mate and will be required to load/unload the van, and ensure that all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining excellent customer service.
Pay: 14 per hour (temp to perm available for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday to Saturday 7am to 4pm (weekend working is done on a rota basis)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multiple deliveries per day, ensuring that goods are delivered to the correct locations on time (average 10-15 drops depending on location).
- Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy, clean, and presentable.
- Report any issues to management immediately.
- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful during all interactions with customers.
- Always maintain clear communication with our client and their customers.
- Must hold a valid manual UK driving license with category B entitlement (for vehicles up to 3.5t).
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is preferred but not essential.
- Must be physically fit, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
