A Site Agent is required to join a large well-known contractor based in Kent. The initial project is based in Basildon, Essex and you will play a key role in the daily management of construction and civil engineering activities for rail infrastructure projects. You will be involved with working on various civils projects including bridge reconstruction / replacement, upgrades and refurbishments, stations, platforms and flood repair and alleviation on C2C infrastructure. Responsibilities include contract execution to their T&Cs and H&S plans, budget management, progress monitoring and reporting issues and results.
The successful candidate must have experience working as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent in a rail / civils environment, experience working on heavy piling works associated with major civils schemes and station upgrade projects. You must also hold a valid SMSTS and PTS upon application and the ideal candidate will hold a degree / HNC / HND in civil engineering or equivalent. A suitable trade-off to no formal qualification is heavy experience in the above.
