SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant: Complete Classroom Services are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in both formal and informal learning environments to meet their physical and learning needs.

There are several vacancies within this school and will be a 32 hour a week Full time which will progress to 36 hours a week to include paid training.

Some of these roles will be on a temp to perm basis.

Requirements:
 

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
  • Be able to maintain high standards of health and safety.
  • Working with SEND children aged between 8 – 19 years old with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
     

Essential Skills

  • Be Patient
  • Know how to differentiate: each child learns differently.
  • Maintain a flexible ‘can do’ approach.
  • Appropriately use recording and reporting processes whenever appropriate.
