CEM Engineering Manager

Location - Kent

Duration - up to 12 months rolling contract

Pay - competitive 

 

My client is looking for motivated CEM Engineering Manager to support construction and civils framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams in the design of railway projects. For Network Rail projects this may be in the role of Contractor's Engineering Manager (CEM) for design, in accordance with Network Rail Standard 
  • Engineering Management for Projects
  • Leading inter-disciplinary design reviews and design coordination meetings
  • Coordination and approval of engineering reports and drawings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering subject
  • Chartered status with an engineering institution
  • A good fundamental understanding of construction of railway design projects. 
  • Previous experience as a CEM  
  • Experience of working for ideally a Tier 1 contractor
  • Civils projects experience
  • Previous experience of AFA schemes would be beneficial
  • Experience of working as a CEM or CRE within design and construction schemes within rail.

Please note you must have worked as a CEM Engineering Manager for a Main or Subcontractor on a Rail project.
