All students are taught a MFL and music for Year 1, giving them an excellent all-round education.They are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 5 teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our Year 5 pupils, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment.Your new role

This role will initially be 2.5 days per week (for Term 5), moving to full-time in Term 6. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for planning, prep and marking, as well as reports and parents' evenings.What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting, particularly in Year 5.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 5 or KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school.
