Role: Project Coordinator / Scheduler

Location: Swanley, Kent

Salary: £30k - £32k per Annum   

Our client is a fast growing well respected main contracting construction company based in Swanley, Kent. They have an excellent name in the sectors they specialise in and have won a number of awards in the last few years.

An exciting opportunity  has arisen for a Project Coordinator (Planner/Scheduler) to join our clients team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be assigned your very own client.  You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the schedules and timelines of the tradesman, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients, clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain tradesman’s schedules and timelines
  • Full management of your client (housing association or council)
  • Monitor progress against schedules and provide updates to management and project teams.
  • Identify and analyse potential scheduling conflicts, and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all necessary resources are available when needed.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding project timelines and progress.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Project Administration

Requirements:

  • Experience in project management, expediting, and logistics management
  • Scheduling Skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the construction/fire protection services
  • Familiarity with industry-specific considerations such as safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team.
