Role: Field Service Engineer

Shifts: Monday to Friday / No call out

Location: Based from Home – Covering a 2 hour radius

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 – Generous overtime – as much or as little as desired

The Company:

Part of a larger group, this well established company manufacturer and service a range of complex process machinery. They are market leaders in their field and have an excellent reputation in their specialist industry. They have a highly skilled team of regionally based service engineers and are looking to increase the support they offer their customers by adding a new service engineer into the South East.

The Role:

Working from home and covering a regional patch, the service engineer will:

  • Conduct mainly planned maintenance of industrial machinery on customers sites
  • Work mainly on mechanical systems such as pumps, pipework, valves, pneumatics, conveyors.
  • There will be some electrical work as well
  • Build relationships with your regional customers and be their ‘go to' engineer

Required experience:

As a Service engineer we are looking for:

  • The service engineer will be mechanically qualified to NVQ3 as a minimum
  • You must have experience maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Ex Forces engineers are certainly of interest
  • Some level of electrical experience is highly desirable but full training is given
