Hours:4 On 4 Off 12 Hour Shifts (4 Days followed by 4 Nights)
Location:Ebbsfleet Valley Area - Commutable from Gravesend, Greenhithe, Strood, Rochester, Aylesford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Bromley, South Ockenden, Erith, Orpington, West Malling, Tonbridge and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a large company at one of their premium factories on the south side of the Thames in Kent. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Maintenance Engineers working in a fast faced environment. This is a multi-skilled environment with both Electrical or Mechanical biased Engineers working effectively together, sharing knowledge & experience to get the work done. Responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electrical & mechanical maintenance work across the factory and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side.
Your main and primary role is supporting all production machinery. This includes diagnosing & troubleshooting breakdowns and machinery problems, together with undertaking planned preventative maintenance and project work too, such as new installations etc.
Requirements
A Maintenance or Service engineering background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc.
Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at NVQ/C&G Level 3 in mechanical or electrical.
Have good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase machinary, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems etc.
Are multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical - either bias is welcome - additional Electronics skills, especially fault finding to component level is very useful.
Good fault-finding skills.
Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Proactive work attitude and always keen to get stuck in.
Always ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions.
