Don't delay and apply now to be considered for this exciting opportunity with a successful company that continues to grow.ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electrical & mechanical maintenance work across the factory and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side.Your main and primary role is supporting all production machinery. This includes diagnosing & troubleshooting breakdowns and machinery problems, together with undertaking planned preventative maintenance and project work too, such as new installations etc.RequirementsA Maintenance or Service engineering background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc.
Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at NVQ/C&G Level 3 in mechanical or electrical.
Have good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase machinery, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems etc.
Are multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical - either bias is welcome - additional Electronics skills, especially fault finding to component level is very useful.
Good fault-finding skills.
Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Proactive work attitude and always keen to get stuck in.
