About the Role:

PearsonWhiffin Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a passionate NQT looking to make a significant impact on students learning and development during their final year of Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 6 students.
  • Assess and monitor students progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience.
  • Prepare students for their transition to secondary education, ensuring they meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
