An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Junior  to join a professional and growing accountancy practice based in Swansea. 

  Key Responsibilities:

Depending on experience, the role will include:

  • Bookkeeping tasks, including posting receipts, payments, and invoices to accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
  • Prepare basic tax returns with support from the Tax Manager
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Calculating payments on account
  • Assisting with client queries

As many clients now use cloud-based accounting software, the majority of the work will be office-based.

  Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in an accountancy role.
  • Qualifications: AAT qualified or ACCA part/fully qualified.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Word and Excel, with good communication skills to liaise with clients via email and telephone.
