Position :Halal Butcher/Meat Cutter
Employer :Ethnic Food Wholesale and Retail
Gross annual salary : £28,000 to £32,000
UK location : Swansea, South Wales
Working days / hours : up to 40 / 48 hours within a 6 day week

A reputed Asian food wholesale and retail establishment in Swansea seeks a highly adept all round Halal Butcheryou will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our meat products. Expertise in food preparation, butchering, and culinary skills will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen. Passionate about providing high-quality meat products, have excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities as summarised above include;
- Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications and company standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all meat products
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines during all stages of food preparation and production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with meat selection
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
- Eligibility to live and work in UK
- Experience andKnowledge of Halal meat requirements
- UKVI Skilled Worker visa criteria
- Awareness of cultural partialities and protocols where appropriate
- Extensive experience at required skill level to be verified by references
In addition you should also have and be :
- Achievement and results driven and have an eye for detail
- Confident and able to communicate well with customers
- Able to work well with others
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Creative, energetic and passionate about delivering excellence
