CISO Operations Executive | Brand New Role!

Location: Swansea Office (Hybrid)

Job Purpose:To support the CISO Operations Manager in developing and expanding the CISO Community Network and executing CISO Network Events. This role involves coordinating activities across all aspects of the CISO Business Unit, engaging with various business areas including marketing and sales. Key tasks include managing operations, sourcing and allocating venues, administration, data analysis, coordinating with speakers, recruiting and acquiring attendees, managing events, providing exceptional customer service, and traveling to all CISO events across EMEA.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Support & Administration:

  • Daily administration of CISO memberships, Salesforce data, customer service support, online community platform, and all related tasks within the CISO Business Unit.
  • Deputise for the CISO Operations Manager when necessary, coordinating all areas of the CISO Business Unit.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Teams to monitor marketing activities, ensuring alignment with the marketing plan and business objectives.
  • Strategically support and coordinate sales efforts globally through the CISO Network.
  • Monitor deposit and final invoicing to ensure all event costs are financially sound.
  • Attend face-to-face meetings with key clients to ensure successful partnerships in executing CISO events.

CISO Network Events:

  • Ensure both in-person and virtual events are well planned, supported, and executed by collaborating with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain Run-of-Show documents for regional CISO events.
  • Assist in scheduling Zoom Webinars and creating links for each CISO host and speaker.
  • Identify suitable venues in planned event cities and initiate contract negotiations to select appropriate venues.
  • Manage customer service responsibilities, including solving attendee issues and coordinating with appropriate teams for solutions.
  • Review operational documents for consistency.
  • Liaise with staff and guests to confirm travel and hotel arrangements and other requirements.
  • Coordinate final arrangements with contracted venues for events.
  • Maintain on-site management of events, overseeing overall success including supervision of hotel and staff.

CISO Online Community Platform:

  • Assist with creating and promoting activities that drive traffic, boost engagement, and increase brand excitement.
  • Handle CISO email communications and social channels.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders within the EMEA region to understand their business objectives.
  • Work with the CISO Operations Manager to maintain an up-to-date plan and ensure a high-quality attendee experience.
  • Assist in selecting high-profile speakers and content for CISO events.
  • Develop relationships with internal teams and assist in broader industry engagement activities.

Other:

  • Support the maintenance and promotion of the CISO Network brand and mission.
  • Ability to travel to approximately 6-8 events per year across EMEA, providing on-site support.
  • Provide additional support as needed, if requested by the Line Manager or Management Team.
