CAD Technician (Sheet Metal/Manufacturing)Neath£30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Development + Company BenefitsAre you a CAD Technician or similar with experience working 3D sheet metal design modelling, looking for an engaging and highly varied role that will allow you to leave your mark within a dynamic and rapidly growing company?On offer is the opportunity to join an industry-leading company that prides itself on providing the best possible service to its customers, as well as caring for, and developing its employees.In this role, you will be working alongside other CAD Technicians as you design a variety 3D sheet metal. Using CAD software you will be designing bespoke units from the ground up, and working alongside the Installation Engineers and workshop teams to ensure the designs are implemented correctly.This company are a market-leading company that specializes in providing temporary access solutions, including ground protection mats and trackway systems, for various industries such as construction, events, and utilities. They offer innovative products designed to protect sensitive ground surfaces and enable safe passage for heavy machinery and vehicles in challenging environments.This role would suit a CAD Technician or similar with experience working with 3D sheet metal design modelling looking for a highly varied and autonomous role at a dynamic and expanding company.The Role:

  • Designing bespoke components from client designs
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to implement designs
  • Creating designs Using RADAN, RADBEND or CAD software
  • Working with Laser/Punch/Pressbrake machinery
  • Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 5:30 pm early finish on Fridays

The Person:

  • CAD Technician or similar
  • Steel fabrication background
  • Background in design within manufacturing
  • Experience in creating BOMS & general MRP platform software
