Sonic Summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking British Sign Language Teaching Assistants (BSL TAs) for a special needs school that supports children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.
Candidates with both experience and limited experience, but a strong desire to learn, are encouraged to apply.
The positions are available for immediate start, both temporarily and long-term, with full-time hours from 8:45 am to 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
The minimum pay rate for these roles is £87.90 per day, and there is potential for contract extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Applicants should have an understanding of childcare and special educational needs, some experience working with children, and up-to-date safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero.

British Sign Language Teaching assistant -

Prospero Teaching are looking for a number of BSL TAs to work within a special needs school, which caters for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

These positions are open to individuals who may have experience working with these special needs, and to those who have limited experience but a passion to learn more within this field. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs

Some experience working with children
