Prospero Teaching is seeking British Sign Language Teaching Assistants (BSL TAs) for a special needs school catering to children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.
The positions are available for individuals with some experience in special needs or those eager to learn, with an immediate start.
The roles are temporary and long-term, requiring full-time commitment from 8:45 am to 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
The minimum salary for these positions is £87.90 per day, with potential for contract extension or permanent placement based on performance.
Candidates should have an understanding of childcare and special educational needs, along with recent safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero.

British Sign Language Teaching assistant -

Prospero Teaching are looking for a number of BSL TAs to work within a special needs school, which caters for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

These positions are open to individuals who may have experience working with these special needs, and to those who have limited experience but a passion to learn more within this field. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs

Some experience working with children
