Your new company
You will be working for a market-leading and well established food manufacturing business in the Swansea area. The company has seen some great growth over the last few years, which has led them to expand their product range and their New Product Development Team.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled team as a NPD Manager, where you will mainly be responsible for supporting a team of NPD Technologists as well as being a project champion where you will create exciting new products from concept all the way through to launch.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver on all product development requirements ensuring that they meet customer codes of practice and BRC regulations
  • Work with a variety of different teams, such as Technical teams to deliver product artwork, Procurement to source new materials etc.
  • Support and Develop the NPD team
  • Responsible for all new products through the BOM Process, chairing the BOM committee weekly to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Routine customer benchmarking
  • Keep up-to-date on FSA guidelines and redevelop products when required.
  • Stay up to date with the latest food trends
  • Customer specifications
  • Project management on multiple projects


Essential:

  • You will need prior experience in a NPD role in a Food Manufacturing Business.
