Teaching Assistant - Role Details:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil with Autism, ensuring they are engaged and supported throughout the school day.
- Implement effective strategies to manage behaviour and encourage positive interaction.
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to tailor learning approaches.
- Assist the pupil with academic and social development as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant supporting Autism or SEN.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour.
- A patient, proactive, and nurturing personality.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via Reeson Education.
