About the client:Our client is seeking a technically skilled and problem-solving-driven individual to join their Service Department at their Head Office in Swansea. In this role, you'll provide IT support to a variety of clients, troubleshooting daily IT issues and optimising their IT infrastructure for peak performance.

Supporting a broad range of clients across the UK, you will be required to handle diverse IT infrastructures. The technical team must be adaptable, multi-skilled, and committed to delivering top-tier service to clients.

The IT Support Engineer - Skills:

While relevant experience is crucial, you are not expected to know everything. Before applying, please ensure you meet some of the following criteria:

  • Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in administering Office 365 accounts (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, 2FA).
  • Knowledge of networking (firewall configuration, VLANs, etc.).
  • A valid full UK driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including telephony, active listening, and customer care.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Technical awareness to assign resources to the appropriate technical issues.
  • Familiarity with the organization's key IT services.
  • Competence in support tools and technology for IT service delivery.
  • Typing proficiency for quick and accurate service request entries.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
