An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Trainer / Teacher with1-3 years teaching and 3 - 5 years IT Industry experience to join a reputable organisation specialising in IT training. This role can be full-time or part-time offeringexcellent benefits, hybrid working (1-2 days office) and a salary range of £26,500 - £33,000 for 37.5 work week.

As a Technical Trainer / Teacher, you will deliver high-impact training for learners completing their Digital Infrastructure Engineer apprenticeships, along with CompTIA qualifications, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Motivating and fostering independent learning among learners, catering to diverse learning needs, including neurodivergent individuals.
  • Creating an interactive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conducting assessments using various methods such as observation and professional discussions.
  • Collaborating with apprenticeship coaches to share insights and improve the overall learning experience.
  • Documenting assessment records and tracking learner progress.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer, IT Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Possess 1-3 years teaching 3 - 5 years IT Industry experience.
  • Background in education or relevant technical fields such as Network/ICT, Software Development, or Cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with technical topics, including networking, IT systems, and hardware.
  • A degree-level education.
  • A UK Driver’s Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
