With Operations across the Globe and with an ever expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer are planning the next part of their recruitment push, following their recent investment they are looking for a Stock Controller to lead from the front with the purchasing team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers opportunity to any employee to train both internally and externally to develop your skills, the role also comes with opportunities to progress up the ladder within the organisation and progress your career.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Report to Supply Chain Manager
  • Controlling stock and inventory on site
  • Planning of Materials coming into the business, managing material flow, reducing cost at every opportunity.
  • Raising claims on carrier for losses and damage
  • Allocating manual orders for customers
  • Monthly reporting of key indicators
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks, as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Stock Controller experience - starting your career out and looking for the next move to further develop your skills and experience.
  • The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to work to a high level of accuracy, in a fast paced environment. The individual will be willing to work flexibly to achieve deadlines as required.
  • A high level of computer literacy is essential, particularly with MS Excel and Outlook with experience of SAP or a similar system desirable. Candidates will have a good level of general education and must be able to demonstrate excellent numeracy and literacy.
  • Aspirations to move up the ladder and progress into management, supply chain manager is based abroad so there's an opportunity for someone to progress into that role on site.
