Residential & Commercial Property Lawyer - Swansea
TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a well-established high street law firm in Swansea, which is looking to expand its property team with the addition of a Qualified Lawyer (CILEx, SRA, or CLC) with 1-3 years PQE.
This friendly and client-focused firm has built a strong reputation within the local community, offering expert legal advice across both residential and commercial property matters. The team handles a variety of transactions, including residential sales and purchases, re-mortgages, lease extensions, transfers of equity, landlord and tenant matters, commercial leases, and business premises acquisitions.
The Role:
As a Property Lawyer, you will manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced solicitors and partners. The role offers exposure to both residential and commercial property matters, though prior experience in both areas is not essential—the firm welcomes applications from lawyers with expertise in either discipline who are keen to develop their skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling a range of residential and/or commercial property transactions
- Advising clients on leasehold and freehold property matters
- Managing re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions
- Supporting landlords, tenants, and businesses with property transactions
- Providing clear, practical advice while maintaining excellent client relationships
Requirements:
- Qualified via CILEx, SRA, or CLC
- 1-3 years PQE in either residential or commercial property law
- A willingness to develop expertise in both areas (training and support provided)
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
